The Embassy does not currently provide consular services, however, the Embassy liaises with The Bahamas High Commission London to facilitate such requests once the request has been made.
The Embassy of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the Kingdom of Belgium receives requests for consular functions such as the processing and issuance of visas, the issuance of passports, the legalisation of documents, and assistance to Bahamian nationals in distress. The Embassy currently liaises with the Bahamas High Commission in London to process these requests.
The Bahamas is a major tourist destination and welcomes millions of visitors from the UK and around the world to its shores each year. In keeping with its commitment to providing efficient and quality customer service, the Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched its e-Visa online services platform. Entry requirements differ depending on your country of citizenship. Citizens of the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, most other Commonwealth countries, the European Union, and many other countries do not require visas for entry into The Bahamas. A single entry visa is valid for one entry only to The Bahamas with the time frame of three (3) months.
A multiple entry visa is valid for multiple entries to The Bahamas for periods of three (3) months, six (6) months and one (1) year. However, the applicant must provide scanned copies of three (3) previous successful visas to The Bahamas as supporting documents.

With the launch of its digital ePassport online portal, the Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas is committing to providing quality customer service to Bahamians. This service is available to all Bahamians, 18 years and older, with a valid ePassport.
The Constitution and the Bahamas Nationality Act 1973 speaks to the detailed provisions affecting the acquisition or loss of Bahamian citizenship. If you are a Bahamian citizen, you are eligible and may apply for a Bahamian passport.
All applicants with lost, stolen, and damaged passports, persons requesting a name change and under the age of 18 years old, must apply in person at the Bahamas High Commission in London. All applications for renewal via the online portal must collect their Passports from the High Commission in London. The Applicant must present his/her most recent passport and the electronic receipt of payment upon collection.
