Ambassador H.E. Cheryl Bazard and H.E. Frédéric Labarrère, Ambassador of Monaco, engaged in fruitful discussions on sustainability, ocean protection, and sports, marking a new chapter in diplomatic relations between The Bahamas and Monaco.
Ambassador H.E. Cheryl Bazard hosted a courtesy call from the Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco, H.E. Frédéric Labarrère, along with members of his team. The diplomatic relations between The Bahamas and Monaco are fresh, having been established on April 17, 2024.
During the meeting, Ambassador Bazard and Ambassador Labarrère engaged in fruitful discussions on various shared areas of interest, including sustainability, ocean protection, and the value of sports. Both parties expressed a keen interest in fostering cooperation and friendship between their respective countries.
The courtesy call marked a renewal of collaboration and highlighted the importance of dialogue in addressing common challenges and seizing opportunities for mutual benefit. Ambassador Bazard looks forward to further exchanges of ideas and initiatives that will strengthen the bond between The Bahamas and Monaco.
