The Embassy of Haiti in Brussels hosted a reverent ecumenical service at la Basilique Nationale du Sacré Coeur to mark the 220th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Haiti.
The commemorative event brought together dignitaries and attendees in prayerful reflection. Père Jean Poulard Espaldy delivered a poignant message of hope, resonating with the historical significance of this momentous occasion.
H.E. Georges Chikoti, Secretary General of the OACPS, and H.E. Dr. Jesse Jean, Ambassador of Haiti, offered remarks, emphasizing the enduring spirit of Haiti’s independence and the importance of unity and resilience.
