Her Excellency Cheryl E. Bazard, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of Mission to the European Union made a courtesy visit to His Excellency Patrick Herman, Ambassador for Latin America and Caribbean, FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, the Kingdom of Belgium on Thursday, 9th January, 2023.
The two sides exchanged views on further enhancing Bahamas-Belgium relations, European Union listings and related issues of banking and reputational damage to the countries listed, CELAC-EU Summit matters, Post Cotonou Agreement, CARICOM/CARIFORUM-EU relations, the Bridgetown Initiative, Organisation of African Caribbean and Pacific States matters, Climate/Ocean matters as well as other matters of mutual interest.
