Press Release

The Ambassador’s Insider Series fall edition at the BELvue Museum featured lively discussions on the Global Gateway and European Green Deal, led by Climate Pact Ambassador Lidia Esther Aviles and hosted by The Brussels Times.

The fall edition of the Ambassador’s Insider Series continued this week at the historic BELvue Museum, situated in the heart of Brussels at the Place des Palais. The event brought together diplomats, policymakers, and stakeholders for an engaging dialogue on two crucial topics shaping global policy—The Global Gateway initiative and the European Green Deal.

Keynote insights were delivered by Lidia Esther Aviles, Climate Pact Ambassador, who shared perspectives on fostering sustainable connections between Europe and the world. Aviles highlighted the vital role of international collaboration in addressing climate challenges while promoting sustainable development through infrastructure investment and environmental stewardship.

The session was brought to life by the dynamic hosting of Hugo Ortiz Dubon, representing The Brussels Times, whose expertise and engaging style ensured the discussion remained both lively and insightful. Attendees had the opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and deepen their understanding of how these initiatives intersect with broader global priorities.

The Ambassador’s Insider Series continues to serve as a key platform for fostering dialogue and collaboration between international and European leaders, promoting mutual understanding and actionable strategies to address global challenges.

Special thanks were extended to The Brussels Times for their continued support in hosting this meaningful and thought-provoking series.
