Her Excellency Cheryl E. Bazard, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and Mission to the European Union made a first courtesy visit with Mr. Lloyd Gunraj, Chargé d’Affaires a. i. of the Embassy of Guyana in Brussels on Thursday, 12 January, 2023.
During the courtesy visit among the matters discussed were the acknowledgement of the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between the two countries and further opportunities for mutual cooperation between The Bahamas and Guyana in the areas of Climate Change, Tourism, Trade and Investments, Youth Development, Education, Disaster Risk Reduction, Food Security and Digital Alliance.
