Ambassador H.E. Cheryl Bazard, in her role as Vice Chair of OACPS, led discussions alongside the European Union’s Special Envoy, focusing on enhancing the resilience and sustainability of Small Island Developing States
In her new role as Vice-Coordinator of the OACPS SIDS Forum 2023-2024, Ambassador H.E. Cheryl Bazard expressed optimism about the road ahead and the potential for impactful outcomes. She emphasized the importance of collective action and partnership in achieving successful conclusions for the benefit of SIDS communities.
The OACPS Ambassadorial Working Group reaffirmed its commitment to advocating for the protection and prosperity of small island developing states, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the global community.
