Ambassador H.E. Cheryl Bazard actively contributes to discussions as the Caribbean Group of Ambassadors convenes in Brussels, addressing vital issues related to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
The Caribbean Group of Ambassadors (CGAB) convened today in Brussels to deliberate on critical issues pertaining to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). This gathering of diplomatic representatives from the Caribbean region proved to be highly productive, with discussions focusing on matters crucial to the region’s development and sustainability.
The meeting underscored the collective commitment of CGAB members to actively engage with international organizations like the FAO to address challenges faced by SIDS. Key agenda items included food security, agricultural development, and climate resilience, all of which are paramount to the Caribbean’s socio-economic well-being.
As a united front, CGAB reaffirmed its dedication to advocating for policies and initiatives that promote the resilience and prosperity of Caribbean nations.
