Cheryl Bazard attends the Government of Flanders’ New Year’s reception, hosted at Errera House in Brussels, where Minister-President Jan Jambon highlights technological advancements and economic achievements, concluding with the sentiment that “Technology is our future, but culture is our wealth.

Ambassador H.E. Cheryl Bazard attended the Government of Flanders’ New Year’s reception for the Diplomatic Corps at Errera House in Brussels, in response to Minister-President H.E. Jan Jambon’s courteous invitation.

The well-attended event gathered a diverse diplomatic audience and featured a compelling address by Minister-President Jan Jambon. He highlighted Flanders’ technological and innovative achievements, showcasing foreign direct investment of just under €5 billion and a substantial increase in purchasing power for Flanders’ residents. Minister-President Jambon concluded his address with a poignant sentiment: “Technology is our future, but culture is our wealth.”
