Ambassador H.E. Cheryl Bazard commemorates Bangladesh’s Independence Day alongside H.E. Mahbub Hassan Saleh, underscoring the historical importance of the event.

Ambassador H.E. Cheryl Bazard joined H.E. Mahbub Hassan Saleh in commemorating the Independence and National Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. This event celebrates the anniversary of Bangladesh’s declaration of independence in 1971. It signifies the culmination of a long and arduous struggle for freedom and self-determination by the Bangladeshi people.

Since gaining independence, Bangladesh has made remarkable progress in various sectors, including economic development, education, and women’s empowerment. Today, Bangladesh stands as a testament to the resilience and determination of its people, who continue to strive for a better future for themselves and future generations.
