Ambassador Bazard officially presented her credentials to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, marking her accreditation to both the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community. 

In a significant diplomatic milestone, Ambassador Bazard presented her credentials to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, marking her official accreditation to both the European Union (EU) and the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom). With the ceremonial exchange of letters of credence and letters of recall from her predecessor, solidified her role as The Bahamas’ representative to the EU.

The event, held at the European Commission headquarters in Brussels, underscored The Bahamas’ commitment to strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations with the EU and Euratom.
