Ambassador Bazard joins the festivities of Pohela Boishakh – Bangla New Year 1431 at Bangladesh House, celebrating Bangladesh’s largest secular national festival.
Ambassador H.E. Cheryl Bazard attended the vibrant festivities of Pohela Boishakh, the Bangla New Year 1431, hosted at Bangladesh House under the invitation of H.E. Mahbub Saleh, Ambassador of Bangladesh. This annual event marks the largest secular national festival in Bangladesh, celebrated with enthusiasm and cultural pride.
The event featured traditional Bangladeshi music, dance performances, and a showcase of culinary delights highlighting the rich heritage of Bangladesh. Pohela Boishakh is not only a celebration of the Bengali New Year but also a testament to the cultural diversity and resilience of Banglades
