Ambassador Bazard celebrates Canada Day with Ambassador Dr. Ailish Campbell, commemorating Canada’s independence and the longstanding friendship between Canada and The Bahamas.
This evening, Ambassador Bazard joined H.E. Dr. Ailish Campbell, the Ambassador of Canada to the European Union, in celebrating Canada Day/Fête du Canada. The event brought together guests and friends of Canada to commemorate the country’s independence.
The Bahamas and Canada have maintained diplomatic relations since 1973, fostering a long-standing friendship and collaboration between the two nations. The two countries have also enjoyed diverse relationships through their shared membership in the Commonwealth and the Organization of American States.
