The 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China was celebrated in Brussels, highlighting China’s achievements since 1949 and its ongoing diplomatic relations with The Bahamas, established in 1997.
Ambassador Bazard attended The People’s Republic of China’s 75th founding anniversary celebration in Brussels. The event was well attended by diplomats, and members of the Chinese diaspora and was a vibrant showcase of China’s historical achievements.
Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1997, The Bahamas and China have fostered a strong partnership rooted in cooperation across various sectors. Over the years, both nations have engaged in numerous cultural, economic, and trade exchanges that have deepened mutual understanding and collaboration.
As The Bahamas looks ahead, the relationship with China remains pivotal, marked by ongoing opportunities for growth and cooperation that benefit both nations in an increasingly interconnected world.
