Ambassador Bazard in her capacity as OACPS Vice Coordinator attends the 20th OCT EU Forum in Brussels, fostering collaboration and strengthening partnerships with SIDS.
The 20th Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) European Union (EU) Forum convened in Brussels, Belgium, from February 26 to 29, 2024, bringing together delegates from across the globe.
Vice Coordinator of the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) for the Organisation of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS), Ambassador Bazard participated in the discussions at the invitation of Felix Fernández-Shaw, Director for Latin America, the Caribbean, and relations with OCTs at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA).
The Forum served as a platform to deliberate on themes of mutual interest and strengthen partnerships with SIDS, underscoring the importance of collaboration in addressing shared challenges. The event concluded with a gala reception.
