Ambassador Bazard attends The Crans Montana Forum’s 36th annual panel discussion under the theme “Women, Democracy and Social Cohesion.” The discussion emphasizes the critical role of women in implementing societal values and building social cohesion.

The theme of this morning’s panel at the 36th annual Crans Montana Forum was “Women, Democracy and Social Cohesion”. The discussion focused on the critical role women play in implementing societal values and promoting a national dialogue. Chair Aïcha BAH DIALLO led the debate, joined by special guests Fatima Maada Bio, First Lady of Sierra Leone, Azali Ambari, First Lady of the Union of Comoros, and Christine Hoebes, Minister of Presidential Affairs of Namibia.

The panel addressed the importance of women’s participation in politics and decision-making processes, as well as their contribution to building social cohesion and promoting democratic values. The discussion highlighted the need for a more inclusive and equitable society, where women’s voices are heard and their contributions are valued.
